Jerome Novotny , OMI – Reviewing the past 6-7 years, has anything really changed. If you thought the three gender movement six years ago was a unproven novelty, try picking from six “genders” or more with the option of creating your own pronoun today. And it gets stranger yet. Princeton University and University of Michigan are among the leaders promoting this type of behaviour. According to Washington Post, more than 50 colleges or universities allow students to choose their genders without documentation of medical intervention. It’s reported that Princeton University students have the option of even choosing several genders. Or choose to be both male and female. This “Gender’s Slippery Slope”, far from expressing the truth, is destroying all levels of society, including families and young children.
As a joke one undergraduate student at the University of Michigan created his own pronoun “His Majesty.” It’s reported that some professors addressed this student according to the pronoun he identified as.
According to Fox News, The Ivy League’s student services, known as TigerHub, allows (but does not require) students to select one or more of the following: “Cisgender,” “Genderqueer,” “gender non-conform[ing],” “Trans/transgender,” “Man,” “Woman,” and “Other”. And the slippery slope continues as we view the following:
Headlines in 2017: California Could Start Jailing People Who Don’t Use Transgender Pronouns. The law, if passed, would affect those who refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns”. In January 2021, California enacted the Transgender Respect, Agency, and Dignity Act (TRADA), which requires, among other things, that CDCR use proper gender pronouns and honorifics for transgender/nonbinary people in CDCR custody. From its beginning, the purpose of a higher education has always been to teach the truth, not to make people feel good about themselves. Transgender courses have never been taught in High School, Colleges or Universities, nor have any researched degrees been offered. This means that modern-day teachers must make up stuff in order to to teach the subject. Wow! A great way to prepare our young people for the future. If you have any doubts, search Google. Shocking!! Research is still in its infancy, if there really is such a research.
The crisis for me lies in the fact that legitimacy is given to the recent distinction between sex and gender. Yet there is no proof for this distinction? There is no research that allows “higher education” the right to enter this “slippery slope” of the unknown and teach it as factual education. Chris Gacek, senior fellow the Family Research Council, states that “The idea that sex and gender are distinguishable is just not true. It’s a lie.”
According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary:
1. gender (noun): the state of being male or female
2. sex (noun): the state of being male or female
3. female (adjective): of or relating to the sex that can produce young or lay eggs
4. male (noun): an individual that produces small usually motile gametes (as spermatozoa or spermatozoids) which fertilize the eggs of a female
What liberals are doing is trying to ignore the facts and create their own definitions. In short, they make things up as they go along. What I will never do is call a male a female or call a female a male. It’s ridiculous to do so! To be scientifically blunt, if you have a penis and testicles, you’re a male. If you have a vagina and ovaries, you’re a female. This is a truth which is not debatable!
What does God say? In Genesis 1:26-28 we find three truths, (1) God created human beings, (2) God created us in his image, and (3) God created us male and female.
Quote: Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
Then in Genesis 2:24, right after the account of how woman was created, Moses introduces marriage: “Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.” St. Paul quotes this verse in Ephesians 5:31 and unfolds the meaning of marriage.
The Truth! Sex and gender are not distinguishable.
